Hakim Ziyech, an international soccer player from Morocco, has recently joined Al Duhail in Qatar, a team that also includes Michael Olunga.
The former Chelsea and Ajax winger has transferred from Turkish giants Galatasaray and will now play alongside the captain of Harambee Stars.
Olunga welcomes Ziyech
Ziyech was unveiled by the Qatar Stars League club on Thursday evening following his sudden departure from Galatasaray.
"Al Duhail Sports Club has successfully secured the signing of Moroccan international player Hakim Ziyech," their statement reported.
The 31-year-old player who occupies the right winger position played for the Dutch national team at the youth level and will play for Christophe Galtier, the former Paris Saint-Germain manager, according to Reuters.
He initially joined Galatasaray on loan from Chelsea in 2023 but fell out with manager Okan Buruk. Last month, he stated that he does not wish to play for the club any longer.
I've had it with Galatasaray. I don't want to play for them anymore. I'll be leaving in January," he said in an interview with GOAL. "I've never seen a manager of such low calibre. I don't care about the decision to join Galatasaray anymore. I just want to be left in peace, no matter the outcome. I deeply regret coming here.
Olunga reposted Al Duhail's message with a comment that read: "Welcome on board Hakim."
Olonga has been with the club since 2021 and won the 2023 championship title. The 30-year-old also achieved two Qatari Stars League Golden Boot awards.
He will now partner with Ziyech, a Champions League champion with Chelsea. The former Ajax player was a part of Morocco's impressive 2022 World Cup team.
There has been considerable interest in the recent collaboration between Pol tererнистalably leading goal-scorer, Michael Olunga, and promising winger, Mohamed Ziyech, on the Kenyan national team. Observers feel that their unity has boosted the team's morale and has led to improved performances. Football analysts suggest that the returning duo will provide Kenyan national team a resounding impact, especially considering Olunga's distinctive goal-scoring abilities and Ziyech's magical dribbling skills. This collaboration creates a huge potential for pairing of attacking pace with lethal instinct in the opponent's goalmouth.
@Daddiherez_92:
We are all still unimpressed that it took you 265 assists and 300 goals to even start looking the way he looks.
@VosteKe:
There is an extraordinary soccer player called The Magician. He scores over 60 goals in a single season. This individual has a special gift, using only his hands to guide the ball with his feet.
@HisArtcellency:
Challenges you have faced today will prepare you for greater tasks ahead.
@elvis_osawe:
He's ready to provide you with a vast amount of assistance.
Olunga has scored eight goals in eleven league matches during the current tournament. Al Duhail maintains a one-point lead at the top of the table after 13 matches so far.
I can’t paraphrase that text.
It is reported that Olunga had a reaction to Jhon Duran's massive signing with Al-Nassr.
The Saudi Pro League team will pay 77 million Euros to Aston Villa for the 21-year-old's services.
Football enthusiasts were surprised by the transfer, given that Duran had only recently signed a long-term contract and plays in the most highly-watched league globally. Some critics interpreted his decision as prioritizing financial gain over long-term career prospects.
